Attention Stands Tall Again

Three of the most obviously desirable qualities in a racehorse are ability, attitude and good-looks. Attention is a colt with all three in abundance, and this exceptionally good-looking colt notched up his second Group win this past weekend when a thrilling winner of the Group 2 BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes. Beautifully prepared by Peter and Paul Snowden, he is thriving in the Queensland sunshine and was a picture of health in the mounting yard. In the event he once again demonstrated his fantastic will to win, putting his rivals to the sword in the straight and never in any real danger of being reeled in under a superb ride from Blake Shinn.

Attention was bred by outstanding breeders Ron and Deb Gilbert at their Highgrove Stud, who presented him as a stunning yearling at the Inglis Sydney Easter Yearling Sale last year.

He has come through the run in fantastic order and heads to the Group 1 JJ Atkins Stakes at the newly-renovated Eagle Farm in two weeks time.

Big congratulations go to owners Belinda Bateman, Fergus & Delia Doyle, Donna & Rob Love, John & Fran Ingham and Gary Diamond.
