Snitzel colt Fireball had impressed at the trials leading into his debut this weekend at Rosehill, and he lived up to his billing with an impressive debut victory.
Settled behind the leaders under jockey Tommy Berry, Fireball pulled into the clear on the home turn and, after being headed, kept on powerfully in the straight to win going away in great style.
Fireball was purchased for our Colt Partnership with TFI at the 2025 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $460,000 from the Yarraman Park Stud draft. He is by Champion sire Snitzel and comes from the family of high-class 2YOs such as Countess Christie and I Have No Fear.
